What is Netalive.org?

Far from the maddening crowds, a place to kick back and lead an intelligent discussion in peace. We respectfully ask the braindeads to stay outside. (New here?)

Best Good All

I am what you call a cursed man.

My whole life has been a string of events that while not horibile in the sense of death, disease, and other massive things. They are enough to have people tell me they wont want my life...

Let me give you a few details...

But before I do that I must explain a little about the current timeframe todate. I am a college student, and have attended this college for over a year now. Now this curse is all in the past, but you can see how the best deceptions can be (...)

Mozilla Firebird is quite awesome. The speed improvements are amazing (no more waiting 5hrs for Mozilla to load, this is just as fast as IE). And it render's like IE too (still gecko engine, but buttons and tables and such render like IE). Very very good, especiall for those looking to kill IE. It's extremely fast.

Only thing is that it's having trouble w/ NAO's little side buttons that insert text and such. I think I have the javascript settings a little to paranoid, so I'll try (...)

I recently came across a rather interesting game. Called Savage by a studio called S2 Studios. They wrote their onw engine speicifcally for the game. A sweet engine called Silverback.

The game is unique because of its Dual Modes.

One one part their is a very smooth, and faily indepth Real Time Stategy System (RTSS) like found in Star Craft, or Warcraft III. The game is 3D and not 2D like star craft. Resembless WarCraft III. But the engine is smother. It also seems to have less memory (...)

I recently had a dream, and in it a word was mentioned, which I'm not quite sure if it possess any true meaning or not.

The dream began with me driving down a rather narrow highway (somewhere I've never seen before), surrounded by short hills on either side (as if the highway was within a furrow), and with a wide tunnel built into a larger hill at the far end. There were enough cars on the road to say that I wasn't alone, but we were fairly evenly spaced out, so I wouldn't say there was (...)

Well I must say that for the time being, I am much better able to deal with the physical realities that directly effect me. But I just can't believe that I wouldv'e reached a comfort zone such as this one without my good friend's help.

Someone I never wanted to get honest with. Someone I feared who would leave me behind, knowing my truths. Unfounded fear, and putting expectations on people and situations. I thought I'd learned not to do that. But I look back on this past week, and (...)

Our letters page today is filled with nothing but Berg-related letters, most of them demanding that the DMN show more photos of the Berg execution. Not one of the 87 letters we received on the topic yesterday called for these images not to be printed. My sense is that there's a big backlash building against the media for flogging the Abu Ghraib photos, but being so delicate with the Berg images. People sense that there's an agenda afoot here. As somebody, can't remember who, wrote
