What is Netalive.org?

Far from the maddening crowds, a place to kick back and lead an intelligent discussion in peace. We respectfully ask the braindeads to stay outside. (New here?)

Best Good All

Two bugs that I came across while screening through NAO :

1. The 'View All Posts' by the author on the user's page doesn't work properly, atleast for me. My stats say I have 62 posts (this being the 63rd) but on the view all posts I see only 42 posts. ( I've counted them ).

2. The User Directory has a problem. I was looking at the lowest ranked users and came across a funny bug.

Take for example the user Death_from_above. His last login date is Jun 18, 2002, 22:25 and he (...)

I've spend the last twenty minutes or so reading back through peoples posts, reminising about the times when i left, Wolf left, Mel left, Jeanette left...

Then i started thinking about the reasons why i left, the way the rating system was pissing everyone off, the way some posts were downrated because of offencive/contriversial contect, and how basically a lot of different people were unhappy about a lot of different things.

I didn't remember it being such a huge deal at the time, but (...)

Have you already heard about this news? I'm curious about what you geeks may think.

Gates said that you have to put virtual stamps on your emails and as soon as you receive one you classify as spam, the spammer has to pay. So, spamming won't be worth it financially in the future.

In general, I frequent two forums; one is a hang-out for people I hang out with in real life, many of whom I see every day, and it sort of restricts what I can and cannot say. Here, though, I don't feel any sort of societal pressure to hold anything in, because (excluding Anduril, who I believe has (...)

On the surface a blue cola sounds like a pretty good idea. What I mean by that is that if you can't make a drink any blacker, you can at least give it a touch of blue.

The keyword here is touch. What Pepsi did with Pepsi Blue however was turning a potentially delicious drink into some sort of carbonated mouthwash.

Does this look healthy to you?

Yuck.

God knows I tried drinking this stuff. But (...)

You certainly have encountered crooks who attempted to exploit your good nature for their own gain. It works like this: A friendly man or woman addresses you on the street and tells you a heartbreaking story about how they came to suffer hardship of epic proportion without their fault, or for what noble cause they're selflessly working their asses off. These people can be very charasmatic and apt at making you look over the gaping holes in their fairy tale stories.

I used to be a real sucker (...)
