What is Netalive.org?

Far from the maddening crowds, a place to kick back and lead an intelligent discussion in peace. We respectfully ask the braindeads to stay outside. (New here?)

Best Good All

For fifteen years, Terry Schiavo has existed in a persistent vegetative state. CAT scans show massive shrinkage of her brain, and EEGs show absolute flatness: there is no electrical activity in her brain.

The religious right, displaying typical ignorance, is extralegally blocking Terry from exercising her right to die with dignity. Despite the well-established legal precedent that should allow her husband Michael to act in her best interests, and despite the medical consensus and (...)

This is a response to an older topic, I HATE CHRISTIANS!!! GARRR!!!, by Aynjell. Fearing that this comment would be overlooked, since the topic hasn't been posted on in several weeks, and seeing that it would still be useful and informative to anyone passing by, I decided to start a new thread. If you have not perused the topic I just mentioned (something you probably should do, though), simply know that I am talking about Christians, and about Christian hypocrites.

Another school shooting and what good did it do? The shooter kills himself. Yeah I'm sure he comes from a long line of tragedy and would have a million and one excuses for his errant behaviour. The thing is, if you don't like the people at school then you simply stop fucking going. Easy! Am I the only person who sees this? Is the answer "get a gun and shoot every motherfucker that walks the earth?", hell no!

When I dislike people I simply stop putting myself in the position of being around (...)

I just read Hells_Angel's post in Love and Lifesense, in which she's essentially posing an honest question to the community here; admittedly, it's one that we've heard and seen a million times, predominantly from braindeads, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with her post, yet before I gave it a rating it was somewhere in the 40% range. Whoever rated that, assuming you didn't make some sort of error in clicking, would do well to sit back for a second and reflect on the fact that it's hard (...)

I had planned to quietly disappear from NAO, but then realised this was rather rude, particularly to those who read my more recent posts and may worry unnecessarily. It's difficult to explain but I need to take a long, long break from here. This is not because of anyone here in anyway, but is for myself. I've allowed myself to slip into a state of nothingness, and now i must drag myself up again. I won't be back for quite some time, but i promise you that when i do it will not be to (...)

Don't let anyone fool you: In terms of support for the four major food groups (fast, frozen, canned and junk) Germany is and remains a developing country. The situation grows worse with decreasing latitude, so if Germany is a developing country, Bavaria is the fucking stone age.

It is to no surprise then that among the many joys of my occasional visits to Berlin is to explore the untold realm of unhealthy nourishment presenting itself to my ignorant tongue.

I think it can be said without (...)
